Honesty and list your skills appropriately.
As someone who is multi-talented in writing, communication, and travel for patient care arenas: I have had many interviews.
So, great; you have an interview which is half of the battle.
Resume Writing
Input your top five assets to the beginning of your resume. It only takes about seven seconds to glance over your resume before Human Resources or whoever decides if it's worth the time to reach out to you for an interview. Also, you can write these assets like your degree, years of experience, and objective( not that you need an objective written but I have been doing it for years).
Research
Research the company you are applying for because the interviewer will ask you why you want to work for their company. This is a good sign that you, as an employee, can pay attention to detail and actually care about what you'll be doing.
Attire
For healthcare jobs, confirm if it is okay to wear scrubs to your interview. For all other sectors; business attire is best. For women; you don't need to wear a decked-out suit but some black slacks, a modest camisole, or a dress that's knee drift is best; whichever is comfortable for you. For men, slacks, blazers, or suit attire is what is comfortable for you too.
The Interview
Remain eye level, and if you're reading this; this isn't your first interview. Be honest with your answers and if you follow your resume; you can point out the avid details to those questions. Also, if you have volunteer experience- that counts! Don't hesitate to question the employer about what they are looking for and why they, work for the company/organization.
These are generalized tasks for succeeding in your interview.
